Training! (Thursday July 11, 2019)

Yooooo so ya last week was cool. Elder Mauricio and I started teaching some progressing people so we're really excited to see what'll happen with them. Buuuuuut he just transferred and now I'm training! so ya wednesday I left for Lahug and Thursday I got my trainee, Elder Jones! He's from Orem, Utah. I'm excited to work with him these next 12 weeks. Right now I'm really hoping the trainer/trainee miracles will really happen here in Toledo. It's going to be really exciting seeing what'll happen. But ya so today is technically our pday as well so we're just getting settled in and then we'll be getting to work.

yoooooooooooooooooooo so this week was pretty cool. Last pday we got to go to the temple which was awesome. I honestly love the temple so much. We're freaking spoiled here in Cebu. We have a temple, we get to Pilot using smart phones. It's awesome. #bestmissionever
So this past week we've just been tracking like crazy kay we literally just have nothing else going on. We only have like 4 people being taught and all the members in our area are either active or less active just because they don't have money. Soooo ya we've just been trying to find like crazy. The past 2 weeks we've had 15+ New people but nothing has really happened yet. We did find a part of our area though that seems super promising. Missionaries haven't been there in forever. We were just looking for a different person that said we could visit her sometime and it led us to this little Sitio called Katera. Long story short, we didn't actually find the lady we were looking for but we ended up finding basically a little neighborhood of crazy nice people that are all willing to listen and talk and ya it's awesome. We went back recently and taught a lesson there and ya we're still finding more and more people there that say we can come back and it's super exciting. So ya that was really cool. We have a lot of potential right now, we just need to keep going back.

Tomorrow I'm going on exchanges in Lutopan again with the other Elders assigned there so that'll be fun. I also just realized that it's the fourth of July tomorrow which is super weird. That'll have been 2 "fourth of july" away from home. Guess I'm just still surprised I'm already past my year mark. But ya, there area isn't crazy progressing right now but I'm still doing good and enjoying the work.
